B.Ed

B.Ed stands for Bachelor of Education. It is a course which provides training in teaching and its related fields.B.Ed degree is mandatory for teaching in higher primary schools & high schools. The regulatory body for B.Ed in India is National Council of Teacher Education(NCTE).

The duration for this course is 2 years and to apply for this course the applicant need to have a Bachelor degree of any course from any recognized university or board of India.

Subjects covered in B.Ed are –

  • Education, Culture and Human values.
  • Educational evaluation and assessment.
  • Educational Psychology.
  • Guidance and Counselling.
  • Holistic Education.
  • Philosophy of Education.

D.El.Ed

D.El.Ed. stands for Diploma in Elementary Education, is a teacher training course. The NCTE has approved the Diploma in Elementary Education programme. The duration of the programme is of two years. The aim of this course is to carrying out the teaching learning process effectively at the elementary level.

OBJECTIVE

  • Understand the difference between the content of a subject and its pedagogy.
  • Learn the skill to transact the subject matter in accordance with the needs and interest of the children.
  • Develop required skills to teach in an inclusive classroom.
  • Use different activity Joyful and age specific learning in the classroom.
  • Develop subject specific teaching learning material (TLM) for elementary school children .
  • Learn about school activity , schemes , programmes and their impacts on school children .
  • Utilize the community resources for meaningful partnership between School and community .

Polytechnic Courses

Civil Engineering

Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, airports, rail-roads, bridges, canals, dams, and buildings etc.

A civil engineer  plan out, design and supervise the construction of different types of buildings. Civil engineers are employed in all major construction projects carried out by central and state government agencies as well as private companies or agencies.

Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical engineering is the discipline that applies the principles of engineering, physics, and materials science for the design, analysis, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. It is the branch of engineering that involves the design, production, and operation of machinery.

Mechanical engineers are required to design, test, manufacture, install, operate and maintain a wide array of machines and mechanical systems that are used in  industries.Major industries that employ mechanical engineers include automobiles, space research, aeronautical, energy and utilities, air conditioning, bio-mechanical industry.

Electronics Engineering

Electronics engineering, is an engineering discipline which utilizes non-linear and electrical components such as diodes, integrated circuits semiconductor devices and especially transistors, to design microprocessors, microcontrollers , electronic circuits, electronic devices and other systems.

Electronics engineers  develop, and evaluate electronic devices used in a variety of areas, such as aviation, computing, transportation, and manufacturing. They work on  electronic devices and systems, including satellites, flight systems, radar and sonar systems, and communications systems.

Electrical Engneering

Electrical Engineering is the branch of engineering that deals with the technology of electricity. Electrical engineers work on a wide range of components, devices and systems, from tiny microchips to huge power station generators.

An Electrical Engineer is expected to undertake the following duties:

  • Design and develop more efficient electrical machinery
  • Control Equipment for electricity generation
  • Transmission and distribution of electrical energy and telecommunication.

Electronics & Communication Engineering

Electronic communications engineers engage in research, design, development and testing of the electronic equipment used in various communications systems. It is due to electrical engineers that we enjoy such modern communication devices as cellular telephones, radios and television etc.

Electronic communications engineers conceptualize, design, test and oversee the manufacturing of communications and broadcast systems. They mainly work to integrate electronics and communications into any system they develop. These professionals might work for commercial, industrial, military or scientific companies.

Computer Science Engineering

Computer science is the study of the theory, experimentation, and engineering that form the basis for the design and use of computers. A computer scientist specializes in the theory of computation and the design of computational systems. Its fields can be divided into a variety of theoretical and practical disciplines.

A computer engineer, also called a software engineer, is responsible for developing, testing and evaluating the software that make our computers work. They may help in the development of new computer games and business applications, or even in the design of entirely new operating systems.
